The Carnarvon Community came out in force to support their public library during the nationwide annual Library Lovers Day celebrations on 14th February 2024.
On Wednesday, 25 October, the Shire of Carnarvon Library and Art Gallery marked a significant milestone in its history by celebrating a decade since its relocation from what is now the Council Chambers to the former old Squash Courts. Over the past ten years, this vibrant space has transformed into a hub for learning, diverse programs, and the flourishing of arts and culture, enriching the lives of the community.
The Shire of Carnarvon Library & Art Gallery has been successful in obtaining funding to support this year’s Children’s Book Week celebrations.
Carnarvon Library and Art Gallery joined libraries all over Australia in celebrating Library Lovers' Day 2023. Over 300 people attended throughout the day, making this a wonderful day of community engagement.
World Ukulele Day comes to Carnarvon fascine, along with a very generous donation of two ukulele kits to the Shire of Carnarvon Library & Art Gallery by professional musician, Adam B. Harris.
