MEDALS

Join us at the Registration Event on Friday, 1 September from 5pm to 6.30pm at the Civic Centre. We have bundled the medals based on your submitted requirements. Medals are in limited supply. For those eager to secure their medals before Friday evening, early collection is available at the Shire office.

T-SHIRTS

Collect your referee and official event T-Shirts at the Registration Event on Friday, 1 September from 5pm to 6.30pm at the Civic Centre to grab yours. Sizes are limited, so be the first to arrive for the best fit. Remember, no additional T-shirt orders will be taken, so secure yours while you can.

REGISTRATIONS

Participating Sporting Clubs and Community Groups, this is your chance to shine! Join us at the Registration Event to showcase your sport and gather registrations for the upcoming Gascoyne Games. It's not just an event; it's a platform for community engagement and a golden opportunity to promote your club.

PARTICIPANT BAGS

Upon completing your registration form at the Civic Centre on Friday, 1 September between 5pm and 6.30pm, you'll be rewarded with a participant bag. Filled with sponsor goodies and official event merchandise (limited availability), it's a tangible symbol of your Gascoyne Games experience. The bags will also include your tickets to the following events:

• Meal Ticket: Join us on Friday, 1 September, from 5pm at the Civic Centre for a delectable dinner. It's on us!
• Breakfast Ticket: Rise and shine on Sunday, 3 September, from 7am to 11am at the Yacht Club. Enjoy a complimentary breakfast spread.

EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY

The Media and Engagement Officer from the Shire of Carnarvon is scheduled to stop into each of the sporting events, aiming to capture essential moments to share with the community and highlight the event success. However, with 12 participating sports, we may not get to all events, we kindly request your assistance in also gathering images to bolster our funding acquittals. Your collaboration ensures comprehensive coverage

Participant Information 

All participants from various sports are required to attend the Registration Event at the Carnarvon Civic Centre on Friday, 1 September from 5pm to 6.30pm. This step is essential for securing your participant bag and meal vouchers for the upcoming events:

Registration Event 

The Shire is thrilled to extend a warm welcome to visiting clubs, while also giving well-deserved recognition to the local sporting heroes who've dedicated their unwavering efforts over the past 18 months to make this remarkable event in Carnarvon possible. This exciting occasion serves as a prime opportunity to secure registrations for a range of captivating sports. In addition, we're honoured to hear from Shire President and this year’s Gascoyne Games ambassador, Greg Hire, renowned for his role with the former Perth Wildcats.  Grab a bite to eat from the Carnarvon Speedway, where a delectable assortment of Beef Rolls and Loaded Hot Dogs will be on offer.

Friday, 1 September, Carnarvon Civic Centre, 5pm to 6.50pm

Gascoyne Games Family Fun Day 

Start your day by supporting local Carnarvon sporting clubs in the morning. Then, gear up for an afternoon brimming with endless fun. 

The action kicks off at 1pm at the Festival Grounds, where an array of sports and obstacle courses await. Enjoy the delicious food from local food vendors. Experience the pulse-pounding activation by Athletics West, designed to unearth the fastest Gascoyne kids. And don't miss our remarkable fundraising relay.

Assemble a team of four and dive into the 200-meter relay challenge. Your participation not only promises an exhilarating competition but also the chance to secure a $500 donation for your chosen charity or beloved sporting club. Generously sponsored by Everywhere Travel.

Come along to be part of an unforgettable day that celebrates sports, community, and active lifestyle. Don’t forget to bring rugs, camp chairs, sunscreen, and hats.  

Saturday, 2 September, Festival Grounds, 1pm to 4pm

Gascoyne Games Social Mixer 

Join us at the Camel Lane Tavern for the Gascoyne Games Social Mixer, where you're invited to celebrate the achievements of both winners and participants! The festivities kick off at 6pm and extend a warm welcome to all. Tickets are available at the door, entitling you to a meal along with the choice to buy your preferred beverages. Kids are invited to join in the fun until 9pm.

This is your opportunity to be part of the medal presentation for some of the outstanding sports contributors, and meet Gascoyne Games ambassador, Greg Hire. Greg is renowned for his remarkable involvement with the former Perth Wildcats, and this is your chance to meet him in person.

As the sun sets, get ready to be entertained following the formal proceedings. There's no better way to cap off the night than with great company, lively atmosphere and celebrate event success.

Gascoyne Games Breakfast

As we conclude this remarkable weekend, we welcome the entire community to express gratitude to the visiting participants and the local supporting clubs for their incredible contributions in making the Gascoyne Games a success.  You're all invited to join us at the Yacht Club starting from 7am until 11am, presented by the Carnarvon Soccer Club as they fundraiser for the upcoming Country Week.
