Are you looking to start a new hobby, get creative for dinner this weekend, or plan your next holiday? Our non-fiction collection is organized in the Dewey Decimal system - but don't worry, have a look at the posters at the end of the shelves for the topics for each section if you want to browse, or use the search computer to see if we have the book you are looking for. Ask library staff at the front desk for assistance if you would like some help navigating the collection.

Biographies

This section contains both biographies (a history about another person's life) and autobiographies (a history of a person's life written by that person). These are organized alphabetically by the surname of the person the book is about - so for example, you will find a book about Molly Meldrum (MEL) next to one about Freddie Mercury (MER). Sportspeople, politicians, authors, musicians and more, this is a great spot to browse if you like to know the story behind a face in the news.

Audiobooks

While they are a great accessibility resource for people with low vision, audiobooks are for everyone! These can be great to listen to in the car, while doing repetitive tasks around the house like cleaning or handicrafts, or while relaxing on the couch. DVDs

Documentaries, travel and cooking shows, performing arts and music sit alongside a massive collection of movies and TV shows for your viewing pleasure! Remember to also check out our e-Resource Kanopy for access to some free streaming as well.
