HOME LIBRARY SERVICE

We want to make sure that everyone has access to all of our library resources so that they can continue to experience the joy of reading - regardless of their health. If you or someone you know is unable to visit the library due to illness or physical challenge, library staff are here to help.

The free Home Library Service is available to all Carnarvon (and immediate surrounds) residents for a short or long-term basis if you have a:

  • Temporary medical reason (e.g., bone fracture, surgery)
  • Long-term medical reason
  • Mobility issues

The service can be tailored to suit an individual's needs: for example, items can be selected by our team and then a friend or family member can collect these and deliver them to your door.  Alternatively, our team can select items and arrange for a suitable time to deliver the items.

Selections can be made for books (including large print), audiobooks, DVDs, and magazines.

Terms and conditions apply. For more information, contact our team on (08) 9941 3727 or by email.

As a library member, remember that we can help you access e-books, e-audiobooks, and e-magazines (and much more) at anytime using our free e-Library.
