REVIVAL EXHIBITION IN THE GALLERY NOOK!
In 2007, the Gascoyne Showcase of Performing Arts launched a new project: "Dancing With The Stars - Carnarvon Style."
More than 120 members of our community checked into a three month dance lesson program held by world class modern ballroom dance performer and artist in residence, Kerry Lavell.
From this number, 12 were selected to be the "stars" with further rehearsals in Latin Dance, culminating in a fantastic cabaret show finale, which saw more than 300 people in attendance to celebrate the hard work put in and to spur on their family member/colleague/friend during their performance. Competition winners were Chelsea Renton and Mick Torossi!
