Invitation for Public Submissions - Proposed Partial Road Closure, Annear Place

Pursuant to Section 3.50 of the Local Government Act, 1995, the Shire of Carnarvon hereby gives public notice of its intent to apply a temporary partial road closure to Annear Place.

It is proposed that a section of the road will be temporarily closed from 1 June 2024 to 31 December 2025 (18 months) due to repair works being undertaken on the One Mile Jetty.

Closure Details and Conditions

The Department of Transport have appointed Ventia Australia Pty Ltd to undertake repair works on the One Mile Jetty during the period noted above.

A section of the road has been designated as a laydown area to give the Contractor direct access to the site. This area will be kept secure and closed off to the public.

Businesses and other facilities operating in this area will still be made accessible to the public during the closure period.

The Shire invites any objections or concerns regarding the proposed closure to be submitted in writing to the CEO Shire of Carnarvon, PO Box 459, Carnarvon WA 6701.

Submissions to be received by 4:00pm Wednesday 3 April 2024.
