We're thrilled to announce that the first stage of the Egan Street Revitalisation, part of 'The Future is Me' program developed by the Shire of Carnarvon and funded by the Department of Justice, is now complete!
The talented Deadly Girls Group, our amazing youth after-school program delivered in partnership with the Shire and Ngala Midwest & Gascoyne, collaborated with the creative Tay from Meraki Boho to bring this stunning mural to life. This masterpiece is just the beginning of the exciting transformation happening along Egan Street.
This vibrant mural is part of the 'Beautiful Streets: 6701' initiative, a key element of the Shire’s Strategic Community Plan. It's inspiring to see our youth and community members come together to leave their mark on our streets.
Stay tuned for more projects under 'The Future is Me' initiative, empowering our youth to take ownership of community and public spaces. The journey has just begun, and we can't wait to see the continued transformation of our beloved Egan Street!
