The Shire of Carnarvon is excited to announce after the Council's resolution on 27 February to support a funding application, the Shire has been awarded $174,000 over three years from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries under the Regional Art Venues Support program!
This incredible funding will be utilised to hire an Art Gallery Development Officer and provide professional development opportunities for our talented regional artists. The goal is to create a locally curated exhibition that can be toured, showcasing the vibrant artistic talents of our community.
This achievement is a direct outcome of the Shire's Strategic Community Plan, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to fostering cultural and artistic growth in our region. We are dedicated to supporting our local artists and bringing more cultural experiences to the community.
