National Tree Day planting event at the Arboretum

Join us for a walk and talk at our beautiful local asset, the Carnarvon Arboretum, in celebration of National Tree Day.

The Carnarvon Arboretum on Robinson Street is a man-made public space in the heart of town, dedicated to showcasing low-water plant species native to our environment. Established in the 1980s by the Carnarvon Tree Society, this expansive oasis has quietly flourished thanks to the ongoing efforts of dedicated volunteers.

Learn more about this wonderful community project from the Carnarvon Tree Society members who have nurtured it from its inception. You can also contribute to our local environment by helping to plant 80 new seedlings, ensuring the Arboretum continues to grow and thrive for future generations.
