Town Oval
Egan Street
This oval, located close to the centre of town, is used regularly for the local football and softball competition . The Oval is fully lit for night games.

Festival Grounds
Robinson Street
This facility provides both a premier oval and a soccer oval and can be used for the regular playing of seasonal sports such as netball, basketball, cricket, football and soccer. The Grounds are fully lit for night games.

Aquatic Centre
Babbage Island Road
Hours:
- Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm
- Saturday and Sunday 11am to 5pm
The Carnarvon Aquatic Centre has recently undergone a $60,000 face lift which included the upgrading of the pool, surrounds and equipment and also the construction of a fenced playgroud complete with play equipment and ground matting. The Centre includes:
- a 50m pool
- fully shaded toddlers pool/baby pool
- basketball hoops and balls
- grassed shady park
- BBQ area
- beach volleyball court
- kiosk
- foam mats and noodles floaties are all for hire
Activities vary from season to season but include swimming club, water aerobics, volleyball, under water hockey and the newly formed Dolphin Swim School with the following classes - Aquabubs 6 - 18mths; Toddlers Swim 18mths - 3yrs; Pre School Swimmers 3yrs - 5yrs;

Carnarvon Civic Centre

The Civic Centre is a multi purpose entertainment venue that can cater for live performances, cinema, large functions, exhibitions and conferences. The Centre features the fully equipped Camel Lane Theatre and the multi purpose Woolshed Hall.
Situated in the heart of the town and close to all amenities, the Centre was designed for use by professional and commercial companies as well as the local community which is demonstrated by the versatility of the venues. The Centre perfectly compliments Carnarvon, which, with its enviable climate, high tourist population and prosperous horticultural, fishing and salt mining industries, provides an excellent destination for the Performing Arts.
The Camel Lane Theatre is a fully equipped proscenium arch theatre that seats up to 365 patrons. The auditorium is raked which ensures perfect vision from all seats and can cater for both large and small productions.
The Woolshed hall is an ideal space for concerts and bands, exhibitions, cabarets and balls. The hall accommodates up to 479 people and offers two adjoining courtyard areas that can be used in conjunction with the hall or by themselves for separate smaller functions.
